Privacy Policy
Effective April 28, 2026 - Last updated April 28, 2026
At Quarq Labs (“Quarq”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), we are committed to protecting your privacy and being clear about how we handle personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we store and secure it, and what rights you have.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to users of Quarq websites, applications, APIs, integrations, and services, including Quarq Agent and Robotics Evals (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: email address, display name, profile picture, authentication credentials managed by our auth provider, and OAuth provider information if you sign in with Google, GitHub, or another provider.
Agent configuration: chosen agent name and personality, selected use cases and preferences, custom prompts, and integration settings.
Conversation data: messages sent to and from your Quarq agent, timestamps, channel information, and related metadata.
Cognitive memory data: structured facts and preferences, contextual records of past interactions, and behavioral rules derived from repeated interactions. This memory is unique to your account and is not mixed with another user’s memory.
Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, features used, error logs, and performance metrics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service, including processing messages, generating responses, building memory, personalizing behavior, and managing your account.
- To improve the Service by analyzing aggregate, anonymized usage patterns, fixing bugs, developing features, and improving retrieval quality.
- To communicate with you about support, service notifications, and changes to terms or policies.
- To maintain security, detect abuse, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and protected at rest using industry-standard controls. User memory is isolated at the data layer. Access by Quarq personnel is restricted to authorized staff and audited where appropriate. If we discover a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by law.
5. Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as authentication, database, hosting, analytics, and model inference providers; to comply with legal requirements; or in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within a reasonable period after termination. Conversation data and cognitive memory are deleted upon account termination unless retention is required by law. Technical logs are generally retained for up to 90 days. Anonymized analytics may be retained for aggregate analysis.
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email support@quarq.io. We will respond within 30 days or as otherwise required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States, European Union, or other jurisdictions. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 13, or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and we may notify you by email where appropriate.
